So, I had today off. Well, almost. And I was reading through some blogs and stumbled upon yet another one of those vectorize / vexelize tutorials. I figured, since I haven’t tried that a lot, I should play around a little. Just thought I’d share the result.
Okay, so for some reason my mind has been on moustaches a lot lately, and I’ve decided to do some short stories and illustrations using this as the theme. Above is the first one I’ve completed.
While the rest of the guys are out of office and I’m also sort of on vacation, I just couldn’t keep my hands off some new stuff I’ve been wanting to try. Here’s a new wallpaper, 1440x900px.
Been working on some more posters theese past days, here’s the result of one of ‘em. Anyone recognize the gal I used? Well, she was in this really cool shoot for Vanity Fair. For some reason the photographer cut off an inch of her shoes, so I had so fix the image up a litte though.
Here’s a small collection of some t-shirt prints I’ve been working on for 2008scandinavia. Obviously I’ve mostly been working by hand, to give it a distinct look and feel. I wanted to give them a personal, individual feel. Really looking forward to getting some shirts printed so we start handing them out to our friends.
Well, as my gf and I have three pet rats ourselves, I thought this would be a fitting motive for a card for today. Happy Valentines!
Thought I’d post a couple of wallpapers I’ve put together here at work. The first one is made in Lego. Or, at least, virtually built in Lego. On the second one I played around a bit with the typography, 3D-effects and some bright colors. For the third I used some tricks I learned from the great guys at PSDTuts together with my illustration where I played around with one of the 2008 logos.
Been checking out some of Von Glitschka’s great tutorials over at Illustration Class. That got me going, making an illustration based on a more or less random image I saved last night. So, here it is.
