Been working on a little magazine project on the side for a while now, and I just published it through Issuu a short while ago. No need for any long downloads of pdfs or anything, plus you can virtually flip through the pages. I love this service. Enjoy!
While the rest of the guys are out of office and I’m also sort of on vacation, I just couldn’t keep my hands off some new stuff I’ve been wanting to try. Here’s a new wallpaper, 1440×900px.
As one of those projects I just have lying around, waiting to be worked on and finished someday, there’s a pdf-magazine I’ve been working on. It’s about robots, sci-fi, and I’ll probably throw in something about ray guns and other retro sci-fi stuff. Here’s a spread I’ve worked on a little..
Been working on some more posters theese past days, here’s the result of one of ‘em. Anyone recognize the gal I used? Well, she was in this really cool shoot for Vanity Fair. For some reason the photographer cut off an inch of her shoes, so I had so fix the image up a litte though.
Well, I guess I should have recovered from Gullblyanten by now(“The Golden Pencil”, Norway´s biggest and most important domestic creative award show). Erik won our internal bet, which means we got two diplomas. One for the Teknograd campaign, and one for the website for Norli’s Antique Books. Well, a lot could be said about the award show and the winners, but I won’t delve into that here.. Anywho, it was nice to see some old pals, and to see our friends at Motion Blur get some well earned gold.
Here’s a small collection of some t-shirt prints I’ve been working on for 2008scandinavia. Obviously I’ve mostly been working by hand, to give it a distinct look and feel. I wanted to give them a personal, individual feel. Really looking forward to getting some shirts printed so we start handing them out to our friends.
It’s been a nice month for us at 2008scandinavia with all the press coverage we’ve gotten in norwegian magazines. We’re featured in a three-page interview in Kapital and we have our Teknograd-campaign featured in Kreativt Forum. In addition we won an award called Ut-prisen for the best outdoors-campaign in january with our boards made completely out of Lego for Lego’s 50th anniversary.
Well, as my gf and I have three pet rats ourselves, I thought this would be a fitting motive for a card for today. Happy Valentines!
Thought I’d post a couple of wallpapers I’ve put together here at work. The first one is made in Lego. Or, at least, virtually built in Lego. On the second one I played around a bit with the typography, 3D-effects and some bright colors. For the third I used some tricks I learned from the great guys at PSDTuts together with my illustration where I played around with one of the 2008 logos.
Been checking out some of Von Glitschka’s great tutorials over at Illustration Class. That got me going, making an illustration based on a more or less random image I saved last night. So, here it is.
